687 Silver Pigeon II. Impressions of Hunting
One look reveals the uniqueness of this Beretta over-and-under: deep relief engravings depicting hunting scenes on the side plates and rich English scrolls decorate the receiver. All metallic parts are coated in Beretta's special nickel-based finish for corrosion resistance. The stock and Schnabel fore-end are either matte lacquer finished or oil finished to bring out the high quality grain of the wood. An oval shield for personalized initials is inlaid on the stock.

A leap in quality
The new Silver Pigeon IV represent a further leap in quality in the Silver Pigeon over-and-under range. Dedicated to the increasing flock of hunters who desire for their shotgun to set them apart, they are produced in classic 12, 20, 28 and .410 gauges. The new 28/.410 gauge receiver is a masterpiece of slenderness and elegance, functionality and robustness.
Stock, receiver, barrels, fore-end: each component is perfectly proportioned with the other, and balanced in weight in order to guarantee maximum handling and ease of swing.

Close to a masterpiece
What’s impressive at first sight, in the new Beretta Silver Pigeon IV, is the superior quality of the walnut stock and fore-end; its beauty further exalted by a precious oil finish and the newly designed, ergonomic checkering executed by Laser technology. The Schnabel fore-end and oval initials shield further personalize these handsome shotguns. If the standard shock absorbing Gel•Tek recoil pad makes a day of intense hunting even more enjoyable, then the Truglo® luminous front sight (in alternative to the classic nickel silver one) assures maximum performance even in conditions of scarce visibility. The cold hammer forged and deeply blued barrels come with the appreciated screw-in Mobilchoke® tubes, or classic fixed chokes for 12 and 20 gauges only.

Richly engraved
Beautiful floral engraving is featured on the Silver Pigeon IV, where the “gold” game on the side plates and the Beretta logo on the trigger plate stand out against the glossy blued finish. The 12 gauge features pheasants and ducks meanwhile the 20, 28 and .410 gauges show quails and partridges.

A Dream Realised
A full-featured 12 gauge weighing in at less than typical 20 gauge makes this a dream for hunters on the move. At little more than 2,700 Kg (5.95 pounds), the Beretta Ultralight has become the worldwide leader in lightweight over-and-unders. The Ultralight is designed to emphasize durability, safety and reliability based on Beretta’s extensive experience in the utilization of lightweight alloys.

New Look
The classic beauty of this shotgun has been enhanced thanks to a new style of engraving. The animals perfectly engraved of the receiver are surrounded by innovative motifs that have been developed in order to emphasize the lightness of this incredible shotgun. This concept is also extended to the fine-cut checkering that features an exclusive modern design that helps the grip as well as the global appearance of the gun.

Built to Last
The Ultralight’s receiver is machined from a single block of light, yet remarkably strong aircraft-quality aluminium alloy, specially heat-treated to deliver the strength and durability of steel – but with 65% less weight. A special Titanium insert in the breech face provides the strength to withstand the punishment of years of use in the field. Titanium inserts in the receiver walls guide the ejectors. The chamber is compatible with all 12 gauge 2 ¾” (70 mm), cartridges. The receiver is protected by an elegant electroless nickel finish. The single selective trigger is gold plated. The barrels are internally chromed, smoothed and polished to resist corrosion and residual wear and tear from the use of steel shot. Beretta’s Mobilchoke® System ensures the perfect match of choke tube to game. The Beretta Ultralight models also feature schnabel fore-ends and a black rubber recoil pad, rounded in order to prevent hang-ups on clothing.

TOTAL DESIGN
Style, Elegance, Handling.

It is elegant yet efficient. Sleek yet strong. With slim, graceful lines that leave an indelible impression at first sight, created by the internationally renowned design studio, Giugiaro Design. It is the product of a commitment to craftmanship and manufacturing excellence that has inspired Beretta's endeavors for nearly 500 years. The new Beretta AL391 Urika, built to be the perfect hunter's companion, has no competition; it is unrivaled.

Rounded receicer.
The skillfully rounded receiver blends perfectly with the stock grip. Besides its link to tradition, it also permits instinctive, rapid target acquisition.
The receiver was designed to enhance the overall slim profile of the shotgun. The top sighting surface features an anti-glare matte black finish that subtly contrasts with the polished finish sides.

Trigger Guard
The trigger guard, one of the most distinctive features of the Beretta semiautomatic shotgun, has a rounded shape that merges with the stock to ensure safe, fast access to the trigger itself. The enlarged opening allows the use of gloves.

Stock
The AL391 Urika’s select walnut stock is carefully fitted to the receiver for seamless wood-to-metal fit, giving it an appearance comparable to the most prestigious shotguns. A lengthened, radiused pistol grip, ergonomic comb and fine checkering ensure comfort and security for all hand sizes, as well as correct finger position on the trigger. The shouldering, the velocity in aiming, the marksmanship and the control of the shotgun have been optimized. The semi-gloss finish highlights the grain of the walnut wood, and waterproofing guarantees protection against harsh hunting conditions. A unique, simple system allows the length of the stock to be quickly adjusted using interchangeable recoil pads. Shooters can vary stock drop and cast to create a perfect match between gun and shooter. The spacers supplied with the gun can be used both for cast off and cast on.
